The first look of ‘NTR’, the biopic of Viswa Vikyatha Nata Sarvabhouma the Legendary 'Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, was unveiled last week and it has created a lot of buzz all around the nation. After seeing Balakrishna’s look, Nandamuri fans are eagerly waiting for the film to release.

While the fans of yesteryear actress Savitri are waiting for the release of ‘Mahanati’, directed by Nag Ashwin, here’s the latest update on the movie’s teaser.

One of the most awaited biopics which will see Nandamuri Balakrishna and Krish Jagarlamudi together for the second time, ‘NTR’ has wrapped up its first schedule. While the actor-cum-politician plays his father Sr NTR, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan plays his wife Basavatarakam in the film. In fact, the film will mark the Tollywood debut of Vidya Balan.

While the shoot of NTR biopic is in full swing, the makers of the movie are still scouting for the star cast in the film. Hansika Motwani, who has been part of numerous hit films in the past decade in Tollywood, will soon be portraying the role of Jaya Prada in the upcoming much-awaited biopic of Sr NTR, ‘NTR-Kathanayakudu’, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role.

To lift the hype a bit further, the makers have released a new poster which featured Balakrishna as Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao and Hansika Motwani as Jaya Prada. The romantic pose has been clicked while the duo is recreating the magic of ‘Chilaka Kottudu Kodithe’ song from the 1977 blockbuster ‘Yamagola’.

In a career spanning over six decades, Prakash Rai, popularly known as Prakash Raj has spectacularly done over 200 Telugu films. While that is a rare feat, the Tollywood is nothing short on best wishes as the actor turns a year older on March 26.

The film has raked in $854K at the US box office as of Friday.
