One of the leading theatre artistes of the country, professor Markand Bhatt has been selected for lifetime achievement award of Sangeet Natak Akademi.

Renowned Gujarati stage actor and theatre personality, Markand Bhatt, died here on Friday.

MUMBAI: The police are still to arrest the killer of former actress Priya Rajvansh (57) although they registered a murder case on Friday morning after receiving the post-mortem report from Cooper hospital. The report stated that Ms Rajvansh had died due to `strangulation and assault.' ``Initially, we suspected that Ms Rajvansh might have died a natural death. However, the autopsy report suggests that she was killed,'' additional commissioner (north-west) Subhash Avate, who is supervising the investigations, stated.
