Interestingly, SVF has also announced their magnum opus with Dev, directed by Dhrubo Banerjee, will release during summer next year. So, it will be interesting to see whether the two films face a box office clash.

Three years after ‘Bela Seshe’ became a runaway hit at the Bengali box office, director duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy are coming up with yet another love story-family drama ‘Bela Shuru’. Windows had initially planned to release the highly-anticipated family drama during Durga Puja last year but later it was postponed. Now, Nandita-Shiboprosad has confirmed ‘Bela Shuru’ will release in May this year.

On Sunday, the first look of Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy's next film ‘Belashuru’ was dropped online to celebrate Soumitra Chatterjee’s birthday. The poster is no doubt a tribute to the thespian as you can see Soumitra combing his on-screen wife Swatilekha Sengupta’s hair in the first poster from the film which will release in May this year.
