With the Delhi police making the second arrest in the alleged fraud case of Rs 250 crore by the promoters of the “Hello Taxi” scheme, investigators are looking for three officials of the companies including two directors who invested around Rs. 3.5 crores of money for purchasing as many as 60 new Hyundai cars from a Noida showroom.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested from south Goa for allegedly duping over 900 people to the tune of Rs 250 crore after promising them huge returns on investment in her app-based taxi company, police said on Monday.

The truck that rammed into a bus at Babubandh near Sambalpur on Thursday killing 10 people and injuring 20 was allegedly being driven by its cleaner, who doesn't have a driving license.

Justice Subramonium Prasad enlarged the two accused on bail noting that they have been in custody for over a year now and their continued custody was no longer required. "Both the petitioners have been in custody for over a year now. Charge sheet as well as supplementary charge sheet have been filed, and all the evidence available is documentary in nature and in custody of the investigating agency", he said.
