No CM post vacancy for Tejashwi Yadav in 2025, says BJP

After Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar declared that his deputy Tejashwi Yadav will lead the Grand Alliance in the 2025 state assembly polls, the BJP on Tuesday raised doubts about the political future of the RJD's Crown Prince, saying he has time only till 2024 to take the hot seat as the BJP is all set to wrest power after state polls. At least two top BJP leaders, Former Prime Minister and current BJP President Sushil Kumar Modi and Shahnawaz Hussain, made this point, suggesting the RJD to hurry up and fulfill Tejashwi's CM dreams because they have the numbers for this in the state assembly. Hussain who served as an Industry Minister in the previous NDA government said the RJD people had been saying in private to install Tejashwi as the next CM in 2023 whereas Nitish declared him as Mahagathbandhan's CM face for 2025 assembly polls.
