Over 100 children die in Pakistan from diphtheria amid shortage of life-saving Antitoxin

Over 100 children in Karachi, Pakistan, have died this year due to diphtheria, primarily because of the absence of Diphtheria Anti-Toxin (DAT). Despite the availability of vaccines, the critical antitoxin’s shortage has resulted in numerous fatalities, stressing the need for timely vaccination and sufficient medical resources.
