Dance franchise Step Up’s fifth instalment is set to hit Indian screens. Sticking to the series’ quintessential image, Step Up All In traces the lives of a few dancers, who battle it out in a high-stakes competition.

The cellmate, identified as Christopher Scott Williams, was originally convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl and was serving an additional sentence for domestic abuse. Williams, who now identifies as a transgender woman, petitioned to be recognised as female and was subsequently transferred to a women’s prison. According to the lawsuit, once Williams was placed in the same cell as Clark, her life became “a living nightmare.”

Alabama is preparing for its second nitrogen gas execution amid debates on the method's humaneness. The first use in January led to a painful death for Kenneth Smith, raising constitutional concerns. Alam Eugene Miller, convicted of triple murder, is scheduled next. Critics urge further evaluation before proceeding with more executions.
