Tragic death for 28-year-old Brazilian beauty influencer Jhei Soares

Brazilian beauty influencer Jhei Soares tragically lost her life at the age of 28 in a flash flood on Sunday, November 24. According to CNN Brazil, Soares, whose real name was Jenniffer Soares Martins, was caught in the flood with her husband, Wallison Lima, in the Minas Gerais region. A video circulating online shows the couple leaning on each other near their car as rescuers tried to reach them using an extended ladder.

Martins and Lima had jumped out of their car after it crashed during the flash flood. They initially tried to use the vehicle as a shield against the powerful current. While rescuers attempted to reach them with a ladder, the duo remained out of reach. With the raging waters, the car was swept away, eventually drifting out of view as the couple struggled to hold on.

Tragically, Martins was later found dead, while her husband, Wallison Lima, miraculously survived, according to officials.

“I just wanted her back,” he wrote with several crying emojis in a social media post later Sunday. In another Instagram Story, he wrote “I don't know what I do without you here. I don't how I'm going to go on without you it's killing me inside.” (translated from Portugese)

He captioned another selfie, "I just wanted to be like this with you now."

Martins, who had more than 82,000 Instagram followers, was known for sharing videos of her outfits, shopping hauls, and daily life in Brazil. Lima and Martins had been married for eight years and shared a relationship spanning over 14 years. The couple often posted about their travels and family celebrations, offering glimpses of their life together to their followers.
