Tecno's POVA Curve 2 is now available for purchase in India via Flipkart and offline retail stores, starting at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB option is priced at Rs 29,999, and buyers can grab up to Rs 3,000 cashback through select bank and NBFC partners.
The headline feature here is the 8,000mAh battery—the largest in its segment—squeezed into a body that measures just 7.42mm thick and weighs 195g. That's a genuinely impressive engineering feat, considering most phones with batteries half that size end up bulkier.
What's under the hood
On the connectivity front, Tecno is calling this the world's first triple-chipset smartphone in its segment. The POVA Curve 2 pairs a dedicated signal chipset (G1) and a separate Wi-Fi chipset (SE1) alongside the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor. It supports 20 5G bands with intelligent network switching, which should help in areas where signal reliability tends to be patchy.
The display is a 144Hz curved AMOLED panel with eye comfort tech baked in—useful for anyone who spends hours scrolling or gaming. Tecno has also loaded its ELLA AI 2.0 assistant, which supports Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati, and Marathi for a more localised experience.
Another notable addition is what Tecno claims is India's first all-scenario AI noise reduction in its segment, designed to clean up audio during calls, video meetings, and gaming sessions.
