Oracle has eliminated thousands of roles across its global offices. The technology giant sent a termination email to the impacted employees stating that the day they received the email was their last working day. One such staff impacted by the latest Oracle job cuts has shared her experience in a LinkedIn post, describing the layoffs as the end of an important chapter in career. In the post, Tricia S Marsh – former Senior Principal Oracle Cloud Delivery and Engagement Lead at Oracle encouraged patience and optimism for the fellow colleagues impacted by the layoffs.
“To anyone else impacted recently, please know you’re not alone…and if I can preach a little ‘This too shall pass. When something ends, God is already creating something new ahead, often in ways that we can’t see. Just be patient. The answer comes in stillness’,” March wrote in her Linkedin post.
She also shared her experience at the company, praising its culture. “I had the opportunity to be part of a company at the forefront of innovation, especially during such an exciting period of AI evolution,” she wrote, adding “Being immersed in conversations around emerging technologies and also delivering on those AI innovations myself and gaining exposure to Agentic AI has been both energizing and inspiring. The culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning is something I’ll carry forward with me”.
