Google rolled out artificial intelligence (AI) powered JEE Main mock tests on Gemini. Sharing a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Google CEO Sundar Pichai celebrated the roll out. An IIT Kharagpur alumni, Pichai wrote “If I could turn back time…”, referencing his own experience as an engineering aspirant while welcoming the rollout of free JEE Main practice tests. Pichai further said that he is “excited for SATs last week and JEE Main this week in Gemini” which comes at no additional cost. The Google CEO quoted the post by Gemini’s official handle on X announcing the new feature: “Building on last week’s announcement of practice SATs in Gemini, you can now also take full-length mock JEE Main tests in Gemini at no cost.”

JEE preparation gets an AI upgrade

As announced by Google on January 28, students can take full-length JEE Main practice tests inside Gemini just by typing "I want to take a JEE Main mock test." The questions are sourced from PhysicsWallah and Careers360, closely mirroring what candidates will face on exam day.Once a test is done, Gemini breaks down your performance — what went well, what didn't — and can even explain the correct answers if you're stuck. Think of it as a tutor that's available round the clock.Google has also added a Canvas tool to AI Mode in Search. Students can upload their class notes, and the AI stitches together a study guide or quiz using both that material and relevant information from the web.
