OnePlus Turbo 6, Turbo 6V to launch in China on January 8: Specs and other details

OnePlus is all set to launch its gaming smartphone series. The company has confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus Turbo 6 series in China on January 8. The smartphone series will consist of two devices — OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V. One of the main highlight of the upcoming Oneplus smartphone is that it will house a massive 9000 mAh battery.


In a post shared on Chinese social media platform Weibo, OnePlus China head, Louis Jie, said: It’s a “performance and battery life supernova,” boasting not only “exceeding performance limits and ridiculously long battery life,” but also a top-tier e-sports screen, full-level water resistance, flagship-quality feel, and comprehensive configuration. It will completely rewrite everyone’s impression of Turbo-level products, bringing an unprecedented performance and battery life experience in this segment!

OnePlus Turbo 6, Turbo 6V specifications

The OnePlus Turbo 6 will come in Lone Black, Silver and Wilderness Green colour options. The smartphone will come in five variants — 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. The Silver colour variant of the smartphone will use a 3D holographic engraving technology.


The company has also confirmed that the OnePlus Turbo 6 will be poweredby Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chips and will house a 9000 mAh battery. The smartphone will come with 27W wired reverse charging function. OnePlus Turbo 6 will also come with IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating which will offer protection against dust and water.


Some rumours suggest that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display and run Android 16 operating system.


ON the other hand, the OnePlus Turbo 6V will come in Lone Black, Fearless Blue and Nova White colours. The company will launch four variants of the smartphone — 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB model. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 7 chipset.
