As anticipation builds for the release of Grand Theft Auto VI on May 26, 2026, a new leak has surfaced online revealing that Rockstar Games may be introducing a new feature called real-time character aging — a mechanic that could redefine immersion in open-world gaming. As per multiple online reports, the new feature would enable players to witness their protagonists age physically and emotionally within the game’s universe.
This also means that with this new feature in place it also means that users will be able to notice visible changes in facial features, body composition, and possibly even voice — a stark departure from the static character models of previous GTA titles.
GTA 6 to get natural evolution feature
Fans of Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 will recall its subtle realism: Arthur Morgan’s beard grew, his weight fluctuated based on diet, and injuries left lasting marks. While RDR2 didn’t include full aging, it laid the groundwork for life-simulation elements that made the world feel alive. GTA 6’s rumoured aging system could take that concept further — turning cosmetic changes into a core gameplay mechanic.
What else to expect from GTA 6
Apart from aging, the leak also suggest that GTA 6 will get various other features such as:
ul1- li1A sprawling open world centered on Vice City
- li1A dynamic economy and improved NPC behavior
- li1Richer side activities and deeper role-playing elements
Grand Theft Auto VI expected to generate nearly $8 billion within two months of its release
Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is set to launch in May next year. Meanwhile, investment firm Konvoy has made some major predictions for the upcoming open world title’s financial performance. The video game venture capitalist company suggests that GTA 6 will generate $7.6 billion in revenue within just two months or 60 days of its release. Josh Chapman, a managing partner of Konvoy, shared this forecast on a post shared on the professional networking site LinkedIn. He highlighted that the firm believes that the highly anticipated game will have major commercial success.
However, it's important to note that Konvoy's projection is based on certain assumptions that Take-Two Interactive has not yet confirmed, such as an $80 price point for the game and a reported budget of around $2 billion, which the company is said to have spent to develop the game.
