NEW DELHI: For most people, Mother’s Day is about making the second Sunday of May very special for only one person -- his or her mom. However, Facebook wants you celebrate with all women who make our lives blossom -- mother, wife, sister, friends (who are mom) and “all the other people that make their lives great -- no matter if they are moms or not,” as per Facebook's statement.
Facebook will allow users to send virtual flowers on its Messenger chat application along with new stickers to celebrate Mother’s Day.
“For a short time, people will start seeing a new purple flower icon in Messenger. Tap on the flower to decorate your messages — text, photos, GIFs and more - with colorful blooms. The person you're sending the message to will see the flowers on their end, too,”
On the Messenger app, there is a new Motherly Love sticker pack for free to help people express their feelings about moms, motherhood and maternal figures in just the right way.
