Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the much-awaited Delhi–Dehradun Expressway on Tuesday, April 14, marking a major boost to road connectivity in North India.The 213-km-long Greenfield corridor is set to cut travel time between the two cities from around 6 hours to just 2–2.5 hours.The project, estimated to cost Rs 12,000–13,000 crore, begins near Akshardham in Delhi and passes through key districts of Uttar Pradesh including Baghpat, Baraut, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, and Saharanpur, before reaching Dehradun.
