WWE NXT News: NXT Title Match Set for Next Week’s Episode

Zachary Wentz finds himself at the edge of history yet again. Wentz took on and defeated Wes Lee during the No Mercy PLE. Wentz’s win led to Trey Miguel and him reuniting to reform the Rascalz. On the same night, Axiom and Frazer defeated Chase U to become the NXT Tag Team champions again.

To complete his redemption, Zachary Wentz teamed up with Miguel and decided that he would be going after the Tag Team titles. After defeating Gallus and Hank and Tank on the latest episode of NXT, the Rascalz are now the No. 1 contenders for the title. They are all set to take on Axiom and Frazer on next week’s episode. Let’s take a closer look at the matchup.

The Rascalz to take on Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the NXT Tag Team titles

Zachary Wentz took on Axiom and Nathan Frazer along with Wes Lee back at the Great American Bash. Back then, Wentz and Lee did not have enough to beat the champs, this loss led to Wes Lee turning heel and attacking his teammates. Lee then went on a smear campaign and blamed Zachary Wentz for their loss at the Great American Bash.

Now, Zach finds himself taking on Axiom and Frazer yet again. This time, he has a different partner to help him win the gold. If Wentz wins, he will become the first wrestler to hold both a TNA title and a WWE title. Wentz will also prove to Wes Lee that he wasn’t the weak link in their last match against Axiom and Frazer.

It goes without saying that next week’s episode could end up being life changing for Zachary Wentz. On the other hand, it could be soul crushing for Wes Lee, who will have utterly failed if Wentz gets the gold. Since Lee is a heel, we might even get to see him make an interference and ruin the night for the Rascalz. If Wentz wins the gold next week, he will surely go down in the history books. It’ll be interesting to see whether Axiom and Frazer will be able to hold on to their titles.
