WWE SmackDown 17-april-2026: All superstars confirmed for the show, Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and more

WWE SmackDown will air its April 17 episode of the show from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be the go-home edition of the show for WrestleMania 42, set to take place at Allegiant Stadium over the weekend. The iconic Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will return on SmackDown alongside top names advertised for the show, which is likely to build more hype for The Show of Shows.Apart from the aforementioned names, the show will feature unannounced names from the Monday Night RAW roster who will compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.Much like every year, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will make its return to SmackDown this week. It will feature superstars from both RAW and SmackDown competing in an over-the-top-rope battle royal. The last person standing in the ring will be declared a winner and etch their name in the list of past winners of the match dedicated to the memory of WWE legend Andre the Giant.The go-home edition of SmackDown for WrestleMania 42 will see Cody Rhodes appear on the show. The American Nightmare has a message for his foes, Randy Orton and Pat McAfee. Similarly, Jacob Fatu will respond to his WrestleMania 42 opponent, Drew McIntyre, after he attacked Fatu last week. Lastly, a huge eight-man tag team match has been announced for the show.
