Before the action kicks off, here are four things every fan needs to know about WWE Bad Blood 2024.



When WWE Bad Blood first debuted in 1997, it gained notoriety for its horrific contests, which also introduced the now-famous Hell in a Cell battle.Despite the event's 2004 discontinuation, wrestling fans are still affected by its legacy. Fans are excited about WWE's decision to revive Bad Blood in 2024 because they hope to see the event's brutal and gritty qualities resurface. Everyone is wondering if WWE will keep up this violence from the past or modernize it for a new era of wrestling.



Numerous WWE legends are set to be in Atlanta for WWE Bad Blood 2024, scheduled for October 5, 2024. According to PWInsider, several former Hall of Famers and superstars, including Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Diamond Dallas Page, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, Madusa, and Jacqueline Moore, will be making appearances leading up to the live event.
The Steiner brothers have confirmed they will participate in a photo opportunity, but the involvement of the other legends remains uncertain. Scott and Rick Steiner, known as The Steiner Bros, were prominent figures in WCW, where Rick is also recognized as the father of Bron Breakker, who recently lost the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Jey Uso. Diamond Dallas Page, another key WCW star, gained fame before the company’s acquisition by WWF in 2001.

Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson were part of the original 'Four Horsemen' stable in WCW during the 1980s and 1990s. Madusa, a three-time WWF Women’s Champion, and Jacqueline Moore, the first African American WWE Women's Cruiserweight Champion, also have strong ties to WCW. While all these former stars have significant connections to Atlanta, it's still unclear if they will appear on-screen during the event.



According to PWInsider, the main event for WWE Bad Blood 2024 will feature a match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns against members of The Bloodline, as part of the ongoing Bloodline civil war. This match, which includes Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, is unlikely to have a clean finish, as WWE Creative may want to prolong the feud rather than conclude it decisively.
Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are expected to support Rhodes and Reigns, which could signal the beginning of a feud between Owens and Rhodes. Interestingly, this tag-team match was a last-minute change; it was initially reported that a Hell in a Cell match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk was slated to headline the event. Given these circumstances, the main event may not conclude on a high note, particularly since WWE is likely to maintain the ongoing tension within The Bloodline storyline.



One of the key reasons the tag team match is now set to headline WWE Bad Blood instead of the traditional Hell in a Cell match could be due to WWE planning some major surprises for the end of the show. Previous reports indicated that Jimmy Uso, who was kicked out of The Bloodline, might be returning.
However, fan excitement has grown even more after a viral clip surfaced showing Cody Rhodes and Pat McAfee talking about a 'big guy' making a return at Bad Blood, sparking speculation that it could be The Rock.
