Joe Tessitore, the lead commentator, broke the news of Samantha Irvin's departure from WWE before welcoming Garcia back to the ring. Garcia, a familiar voice to longtime WWE fans, immediately took over announcing duties for the opening bout. WWE later shared the video on X, the platform previously known as Twitter. Garcia's connection to WWE runs deep, dating back to the fall of 1999. She has been a consistent presence in the company, serving as a beloved ring announcer for countless matches and events. Garcia continued to announce matches until 2016 when she decided to pursue other opportunities. However, her love for WWE never faded. Earlier this year, she made a surprise appearance on an episode of Raw in South Carolina, sharing a heartwarming moment with Irvin before announcing a match between Kofi Kingston and Gunther. This guest appearance served as a reminder of her love and deep-rooted connection to WWE. Furthermore, it also paved the way for her jaw-dropping return.
