“Isn’t that 2 jobs?"- John Cena responds to top WWE star who had a major moment at his expense

John Cena's farewell tour saw some unforgettable and memorable moments in 2025. However, one of those moments came right at the end of his retirement run at WWE Survivor Series 2025. The Never Seen 17 defended his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio, which was a blockbuster match in its own right. However, the big shocker was Liv Morgan's return from injury after six months. She initially slapped Mysterio and then hugged Cena. However, right after, Morgan turned on Cena and kicked him in the groin to help Mysterio regain the title.

The former WWE Women's World Champion discussed the moment with Stephanie McMahon on her podcast. She said, “I had one job, to kick @JohnCena in the d$&@ and hit him with the title.” One of the coolest returns I’ve seen in a loooong time! Welcome back @YaOnlyLivvOnce! We missed your crazy a**! ❤️ This led Cena to respond to Morgan via his X, saying that it was two jobs for Morgan, while being happy to see her return to WWE. Cena wrote, “Isn’t that 2 jobs? Semantics aside, an unforgettable night and a honor to be a part of what brought you back into a @WWE ring!”

John Cena's appearance at WWE Survivor Series was his second last in-ring bout as part of his farewell tour. Following that, he competed in his final match against the man who outlasted 16 competitors in 'The Last Time is Now' tournament, Gunther. It was an explosive showdown that captivated millions of fans as The Cenation Leader left it all inside the ring, knowing that it was his final time. However, the end of the bout saw a heartbreaking end.

Cena survived multiple submission attempts from Gunther. However, The Ring General trapped him in the sleeper hold one last time with full force. The Face that Runs the Place tried his best effort to break out, but couldn't. As he realised that it was the end, Cena had a smile on his face and tapped out to Gunther.

While it was a sight that left millions crying and agitated, the fans in the arena and superstars applauded Cena for his remarkable contributions to WWE. The Champ then left his shoes and bands in the ring and walked away, not before giving the final salute to the WWE Universe all across the world.
