Former
WWE superstar, MVP, took to social media platform Instagram today and revealed to the world that he was unemployed. The last time MVP fought in the ring for WWE was back in 2022 when he teamed up with Osmos to take on The Street Profits. After that, MVP was nowhere to be seen and was officially removed from WWE’s main roster in July this year.
MVP broke the news about his unemployment by sharing a video of him winning a jackpot in Las Vegas.
He mentioned that the timing of said jackpot could not have been better, since he was unemployed when he won it. He also noted that this was the first time in his life that he got the tax paperwork for winning money. Let’s take a look at what the future holds for MVP.

After Being Discarded from WWE, MVP Starts Training for In-Ring ReturnWhen will MVP return to wrestling?
Talk suggests that MVP has been working with Bobby Lashley and other members from the Hurt Business in order to return to wrestling. A few reports claimed that Lashley and MVP could be headed to AEW in the coming months, but so far, there have been no developments on that end. When talking about MVP’s return to the ring, we also have to take into account that he will turn 51 this year.
Not many can perform past 50 and even if they do, they’re a shell of their former self. This is something that doesn't bode well for MVP, who has been away from the ring for more than two years now. However, MVP shared an update a few weeks ago where he wrote that he will be ready for action after a few weeks of in-ring training.
He also mentioned that his retirement is now closer than ever, so he wants to make the most of the time he has left. At the peak of his career, MVP was one of the best mid-card wrestlers in the WWE. During his time with the company, he won the WWE Tag Team titles along with the WWE United States Championship (2x). Hopefully, we’ll get to see one more glorious run from MVP before he decides to hang up his boots for good.
