After exiting from WWE ,there have been several reports of former “Hurt Business” colleagues MVP and Bobby Lashley joining other wrestling promotions such as AEW. Bobby has even announced his first boxing match after his contract expired with the WWE. Now, a video has been uploaded by Montel Vontavious Porter on ‘Instagram’, where he is seen practicing, taking a bump in particular, after a long time. That is probably to make his long awaited in-ring return.
Notably, MVP has not had a match for more than 2 years and the 51 year old may be in the twilight of his wrestling career. Another former WWE superstar, Shelton Benjamin was also heard talking in the given video. There have been rumors floating around that the ‘Hurt Business’ trio of Bobby Lashley MVP and Shelton Benjamin could reunite in AEW, maybe with a different name. In the video that MVP posted on Instagram, he wrote the caption “The Ronin of professional wrestling has returned! I literally hit the ring yesterday!!! 1st bump in a while. A few more weeks of training and a bit of @justformen(grooming product) and I'll be ready!!! My official in-ring retirement is near. But it's not here yet!!!!”.

In July this year, it was rumored that MVP, Bobby Lashley and Tamina were eliminated from WWE owing to their contract getting expired, following which, it was made official the next month. Although MVP has been seen more in a managerial role in his last stint with WWE, he made sporadic appearances in Royal Rumble and other important events, as a wrestler. Meanwhile, after his WWE exit, MVP has been taking shots at Triple H(WWE COO) for not making full use of the Hurt Business and not managing it properly.

The former United States Champion has also accused the current COO of WWE for mild racism. While there has been no reply from WWE or Triple H yet on this, we have seen former superstars taking potshots at WWE after getting released. Would you like to see the Hurt Business reunite in AEW?
