NEW DELHI: Former WWE Champion CM Punk made an unannounced appearance on Monday Night RAW this month despite nursing an injury. The wrestling icon has not only been spotted backstage at various shows but also emerged after the conclusion of tonight's episode of RAW in Anaheim.

Although Punk did not grace the television screen during the broadcast, he made a post-show appearance alongside Cody Rhodes. The moment came after Jey Uso found himself in the ring, still recovering from a recent assault by his brother Jimmy.

Addressing the passionate audience in Anaheim, Punk delivered a heartfelt promo, commending them for their energy throughout the night. The Straight Edge Superstar expressed gratitude for the support and assured fans that his current injury is just a temporary setback.

"This (injury) is a bump in the road, and I promise you the next time we are in Anaheim, I will be here, and I will have my boots on," Punk declared to an excited crowd.

With speculation swirling around Punk's future involvement with WWE, attention turns to the possibility of a role at WrestleMania 40. While Punk won't be able to compete in the ring due to his injury, the former AEW star could still play a crucial part in the grandeur of The Show of Shows.

Rumors suggest that Punk might be considered for the role of WrestleMania host, providing an avenue to continue his ongoing issues with fellow superstars like Seth Rollins and, notably, Drew McIntyre.
