After an incident that occurred during the AEW TBS Championship, Mercedes Moné has threatened to call the cops on Britt Baker. This comes after The CEO won the match against Nyla Rose on the 250th episode of the flagship program. Post the match, Moné was celebrating her victory when a fan wearing a Sting mask punched her, it later turned out to be Britt Baker.
Post the incident, Mercedes took to her Instagram stories and announced that she will be taking strict action against Baker. She wrote, "Call the cops! So when I leave the arena, I’m safe and escorted out. One thing about me, when you mess with me I’m gonna call the cops. I’m not going to mess with you, I’m calling the cops and getting you arrested. Don’t ever put your hands on me, fan! Are the cops here yet? I’m ready to write that report. Seriously, can you call 911 back? I need to know the ETA on when to write that report. We got evidence all on TBS of that fan touching me."
All the drama that occurred between Mercedes Moné and Britt Baker at Comic-ConThis is not the first time that things have turned ugly between Mercedes and Britt. Previously at Comic-Con, which took place in July the duo broke out into a fight and had to be separated during the AEW Panel. Footage of the incident was leaked shortly afterwards and took the internet by a storm.
The video started off with Moné claiming that her nemesis would never win the TBS Championship. The two of them then got into a physical fight, shoving each other and had to be separated by Tony Khan and others. Post this, Khan declared that he was getting tired of the issues between Britt and Moné. He asked fans at Comic-con if they would like to see the two wrestle, and fans responded with much enthusiasm. It was then announced that the two will be facing off each other. This declaration was made to the chagrin of Moné, while Britt Baker was overjoyed at the chance of a match. Mercedes Moné and Britt Baker are all set to face-off one another at Wembley Stadium on the 25th of August for AEW All In.
