India's ace shooters Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Sanjeev Rajput failed to qualify for the medal round after finishing 21st and 32nd respectively in the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions at the Asaka Shooting Range.
Kamalpreet Kaur dished out a good performance in her debut Olympics as she finished creditable 6th position in women's discus throw final.
