Michael Penix Jr. might be a pretty talented player but he has gone through brutal injuries in the last few seasons.

The Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback suffered two ACL tears in 2018 and 2020, and two shoulder injuries in 2019 and in 2021.

A few weeks ago, Michael Penix Jr., spoke to Sports Illustrated about his injuries and said, “I don't really focus on it anymore…I talked about it before, my past. 2021 was a tough season for me because I was thinking about injuries. I wasn't able to play at a high level because that's something where my mind was. I wasn't able to play at the level that I wanted to.”

The Atlanta Falcons’ star player added, "Now it's like, I've been injured four times. I just pray, trusting my faith and trust that God's going to protect me. I go out there and have fun because at any moment it could be my last play….”
