NEW DELHI: In a sensational Super Bowl rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night, the Eagles orchestrated a remarkable comeback, erasing a 10-point deficit to secure a thrilling 21-17 victory. The game was a rollercoaster of emotions, featuring standout plays and moments that left fans on the edge of their seats.

One of the most memorable incidents occurred when Eagles rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter attempted to intercept a spike by Chiefs' star quarterback Patrick Mahomes at the end of the first half. The bold and unconventional move took everyone by surprise, as Carter nearly pulled off a play rarely seen in professional football.

Watch the audacious play here.

Speaking about the daring attempt after the game, Carter revealed that he drew inspiration from a video he came across on the internet. "I saw it on YouTube," Carter told 94WIP. "Some high school kid tried -- and he actually caught the ball. So I was like, you know, that's a good idea. And I knew they were spiking it. So I tried to go for it."

While interceptions off a spike are a rarity in the NFL, the audacity and creativity displayed by Carter added an extra layer of excitement to an already intense matchup. The fact that such attempts have succeeded in the past fueled Carter's ambition to pull off a play that would have undoubtedly been hailed as the highlight of the game and potentially the entire year.
