Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have the whole world waiting for them to tie the knot at a lavish ceremony.

While there have been reports of their high profile wedding being delayed because of Travis Kelce’s retirement rumors, it has now been revealed that Taylor Swift reportedly knew from a very long time that he was “the one” for her.

A few weeks ago, as per Radar Online, a source revealed that a particular incident had convinced Taylor Swift that they would marry one day.


The source said, "When she got out of a car with him early on, he went straight around her security to open the door for her.”

The source added, “Taylor looked genuinely surprised and thrilled.”

As per Radar Online, the source continued, “From that moment, people close to her felt marriage was inevitable.”

Reportedly, people close to Taylor Swift also compared Travis Kelce’s actions to Joe Alwyn as the source added, “It was the complete opposite of her ex Joe Alwyn, who would often rush ahead and leave her on her own."

From the very beginning, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce looked pretty happy and comfortable with each other.

Unlike Taylor Swift’s romance with her ex boyfriend of five years, Joe Alwyn, the billionaire pop star was much more public with Travis Kelce.

While their engagement in August 2025 had sparked chaos among fans, there have been strong rumors about their wedding plans being “put on hold”.

The reason being that Taylor Swift does not want Travis Kelce to focus on anything else other than the retirement rumors that he has been dealing with.

A few days ago, as per Rob Schuter, a source added, “Travis is still figuring out if he’s playing next year…They don’t want to stress over a wedding when there’s so much else going on.”
