In his one-word review of the halftime performance, the former Patriots QB praised Bad Bunny’s exemplary performance. The game itself was also a nail-biting one as the Seattle Seahawks rolled past the New England Patriots 29–13 to win the second championship in franchise history. Still, even with Seattle in control, the halftime show became the headline for many fans, including Brady.

Bad Bunny’s 13-minute performance made history as the first Super Bowl halftime show performed entirely in Spanish. It was not just about the music, as its visuals and aesthetics displayed a strong sense of identity, pride, and culture on the biggest stage in American sports.


The production leaned heavily into Puerto Rican imagery as viewers saw a sugarcane plantation, a neighborhood bodega, and even a replica of a traditional Puerto Rican home known as La Casita. The visuals felt personal and were not some generic sets just for a gimmick. It was a performance with someone telling their own story and not trying to please everyone.

The setlist delivered nonstop hits, including “Tití Me Preguntó,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” “MONACO,” “Nuevayol,” and “El Apagón.” The crowd never got a break, and that was the point. Lady Gaga added a major surprise moment when she joined Bad Bunny for a salsa-style version of “Die With a Smile.” She also danced alongside him, turning the collaboration into a true shared spotlight.
