Stefon Diggs and Cardi B’s romance takes a new turn as ex Aileen Lopera makes a shocking update to her lawsuit against him

Stefon Diggs and Cardi B’s relationship have dominated headlines over the last few months, considering the messy legal scandals and cheating allegations that the two have found themselves in the middle of.

Amid all the mess, just hours after Stefon Diggs publicly admitted his admiration for Cardi B, his ex, popular model Aileen Lopera has made a new update to the paternity suit that she had filed against him.

A few hours ago, as per US Weekly, Stefon Diggs’ ex, Aileen Lopera, dropped the paternity suit she had filed against him after DNA test proved that the star player is the father of her daughter.


Aileen Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, confirmed the development, as he said, “The matter has been resolved”.

For the unversed, Aileen Lopera had given birth to their daughter in April 2024 and filed a lawsuit against him in December of the same year, seeking child support and pregnancy expenses to be paid.

But Stefon Diggs responded to the lawsuit only in July 2025 as he sought DNA testing of the child while demanding joint custody if the child proved to be his.

While the DNA test proved Stefon Diggs was the father in November, the report was not made public or filed in court until now.

However, neither Stefon Diggs nor Cardi B has responded to the development yet as they continue to focus on their respective careers.

Stefon Diggs has admitted his admiration for Cardi B

A few hours before Aileen Lopera dropped the lawsuit, Stefon Diggs opened up about his feelings for Cardi B at a press conference.

The New England Patriots’ star player said, “I’m just thankful to have her in my corner. She’s an amazing woman, and continue to build that relationship…”

Stefon Diggs added, “You know, I don’t talk too much about my personal life. But she’s an amazing woman, and I just appreciate her. Hopefully I can build on that and watch that tree grow.”

Cardi B has not responded to Stefon Diggs’ statements yet as she continues to prep for her upcoming tour.
