According to ESPN Insider, former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is gaining strong traction inside league circles as a potential replacement. The idea of a division rival stepping into the Ravens’ locker room may seem bold, but the logic behind it is becoming increasingly clear.

Why Kevin Stefanski is suddenly in the mix

Stefanski’s resume quietly checks many of the boxes Baltimore is prioritising. During his time in Cleveland, he was widely respected as a calm, detail-oriented leader with a strong offensive background. While his Browns tenure had mixed results, many around the league believe he was limited more by instability at quarterback than by coaching ability.

That context matters because in Baltimore, Stefanski would inherit one of the NFL’s most dynamic players in Lamar Jackson.



Unlike his time in Cleveland, where Stefanski cycled through multiple starting quarterbacks, the Ravens job offers something rare: a true franchise QB in his prime. League executives believe the chance to build an offense fully around Jackson’s strengths could be extremely appealing to the former Browns coach.
