Brittany Mahomes wasn’t trying to create a picture-perfect holiday moment. She was just squeezing in a Christmas Eve workout when it naturally turned into something warm and memorable. The short clip she shared felt familiar to anyone with kids. A small slip happened, but it never stole the joy. Laughter filled the room, and the moment kept moving, just like the family did.
Brittany kept her attention on the workout while her kids jumped in beside her, excited and determined to keep pace. When they lost their footing, there was no crying or chaos. They brushed it off, stood back up, and carried on with smiles. It felt like a real slice of parenting, comforting in its honesty, especially during a time when holiday moments are often carefully staged.
Brittany Mahomes turns a treadmill tumble into a teachable holiday moment
“Christmas Eve workout with my kiddos,” Brittany captioned the video, showing Sterling, 4, and Bronze, 3, walking beside her on the treadmill. As Brittany stayed locked into her routine, the kids tried to match her rhythm. Sterling slipped first and slid off the machine, followed seconds later by Bronze.
Both bounced back quickly, unharmed and unfazed, rejoining their mom moments later.
In the second clip shifted the tone from surprise to playful determination. Brittany moved into leg lifts and core exercises, dressed in a festive red sports bra and matching leggings.Sterling happily rolled beside her, doing crunches in candy cane print pajamas with a bold red bow in her hair. Bronze joined in too, lifting his legs while wearing green holiday pajamas decorated with trees and gingerbread figures.
The moment came during a difficult week for the Mahomes family. Patrick Mahomes had recently undergone surgery after tearing his ACL, an injury that ended his season early. After the Chiefs’ playoff elimination, he shared an emotional message with fans.
“Don’t know why this had to happen. And not going to lie it’s [sic] hurts. But all we can do now is Trust in God and attack every single day over and over again,” he wrote. He added, “Thank you Chiefs kingdom for always supporting me and for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers.”
Despite the setback, Patrick’s determination remained clear. “I will be back stronger than ever,” he assured supporters. For Brittany and their children, the holiday workout became more than exercise.
