Taylor Swift is said to be renovating her Rhode Island mansion for a cozy family home with her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, in a $17 million renovation. The upgrades over $1.7 million comprise a new bedroom suite, lounge, revamped kitchen, and additional bedroom. Construction permits were submitted late in 2024, and the work will be continued till the end of 2025. The couple will use this mansion as their principal residence and future family retreat.
New pictures of the opulent renovation now surface thanks to the work of Paul Edward Parker of The Providence Journal. The set gives a better view of the luxurious mansion of the "Fortnight" crooner. According to the Providence Journal, the area is about 12,657 square feet Watch Hill estate has an assessment of $20.7 million for 2023. In one of his photographs, Parker shows that the facility is bordered by a fenced perimeter and has a notice against trespassers.
Swift's lavish renovation of her estate sparked speculation on her motives. Some fans speculated she was adding a nursery and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, were planning their wedding there. The renovation was first reported on social media. While there has been no statement from the couple about their future plans, an insider told Us Weekly in December that Swift "does feel like Travis is The One." Moreover, while Swift and Kelce would reportedly "love to be engaged," the couple "aren't rushing it.”
Swift has a long-standing relationship with the property that has hosted celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Blake Lively, and high-profile ex-boyfriends like Tom Hiddleston and Calvin Harris. In August 2024, Swift was last seen enjoying the mansion with Kelce and her close friends.
