Michael Strahan’s life might change as he eyes NFL ownership amid growing speculation about his retirement from ABC’s Good Morning America

Michael Strahan, the NFL legend and the host of Good Morning America, has been an entrepreneur for the last couple of years. While Michael Strahan has a production company and a lifestyle brand to his name, it seems the NFL legend might be considering to buy a stake in an NFL team. Michael Strahan has recently commented on this.

Michael Strahan opens up about planning to own an NFL team and the changes he can bring to the league

Recently, Michael Strahan featured in a new video series co-produced by Yahoo Sports and Boardroom, Network with Rich Kleiman, where he opened up about his aspirations of owing an NFL team.



The popular host of Good Morning America, Michael Strahan, said, "I'd love to be on the ownership side…”

The NFL legend added, “For me, though, it's like owning, but I'm not there to say, 'you should draft that guy and you should do this.' I want to be in an ownership position where I just advise what you need.”

Michael Strahan continued, “One of the things I felt that I was good at with the Giants was leadership -- understanding guys, understanding motivation, understanding pushing yourself to be great, the mentality that it takes. And I would love to be on the ownership side of it, but in a space where I feel like I can contribute most would be in those ways."

While Michael Strahan is known for his talent on the field, his business acumen has also landed him a spot in the new season of Shark Tank.

As of now, there are no confirmed reports about Michael Strahan trying to own an NFL team, even though the NFL legend seems pretty excited to do so.

There have also been many rumours surrounding Michael Strahan’s potential retirement from hosting Good Morning America, after his daughter recovered from cancer.

The NFL legend has opened up about how he wants to take some time off and focus on being there for his family.

However, at this point in time, Michael Strahan continues to host the ABC Special and has not revealed any plans of retirement yet.
