Life has shifted quickly for Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld. The couple have just welcomed their first child, a baby girl, and the early days of parenthood are already reshaping their routine. While Allen spends the offseason away from the Buffalo Bills playbook, the focus at home is far simpler. Sleep schedules, diapers, and quiet moments now define their days. At the same time, Steinfeld is beginning to reflect on how this new chapter could influence something that has long been central to her identity: fashion.

Hailee Steinfeld’s fashion circle now feels like family

Even during pregnancy, Steinfeld maintained her reputation for polished, thoughtful style. Red carpets, including events like the Oscars, have long been part of her professional rhythm, though she skipped this year’s ceremony. Her return feels inevitable, but now with a different perspective.
In her recent “Beau Society” newsletter, she turned the spotlight on the two people who have helped shape her public image over the years, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. The conversation felt less like an interview and more like a reflection among close collaborators.“My fashion curiosity has grown exponentially through my relationship with Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, my two amazing stylists,” she says in the newsletter, “who have taught me so much about style and brought me into their creative process in an incredibly collaborative way.”
Zangardi’s response carried a personal touch that now extends beyond fashion. “It feels like we’ve worked together forever. It feels like family…and I still can’t believe you’ve added to your family. Mariel and I are so excited for you and Josh, and we cannot wait to dress this baby.”That sense of familiarity reflects years of shared work, evolving from fittings and styling sessions into something more enduring.

A new phase where fashion meets everyday life

Hailee Steinfeld’s bond with her stylists is built on a process that has adapted over time. Haenn explained how their approach has shifted with experience and scale. “It all starts with the client and project or creative. We used to shop together in the earlier days, but as our business grew, we adapted to divide and conquer.”She added, “As Rob mentioned, we have the same taste. Depending on the scale of the job, we always start with a game plan and then divvy up who goes where, who scours collections on Vogue.com.” The collaboration remains constant, even when logistics change. “We always love to do fittings together when time permits, and if not, we have a shared photo album of all client fittings, and we discuss our ‘faves’ after.”For Steinfeld, fashion is no longer just about appearances tied to work. It is becoming part of how she defines this new phase of life. “Fashion touches nearly every aspect of my life: from the work I do as an actor, to events and appearances related to my work, to my ever-evolving personal style, which I’m especially excited to hone in this new stage of my life,” she says. There is a quiet shift here. The spotlight remains, but the meaning behind it feels more personal now. And somewhere between game days and quiet nights at home, both Steinfeld and Allen are learning that identity can evolve just as naturally as life itself.
