Wright sounded firm about Mahomes’ progress. “I believe Patrick Mahomes is gonna be dancing at Travis Kelce’s wedding and is gonna be starting for the Chiefs in Week 1 and so I will go with the over for now, all of a sudden, hunters.” he said during the segment while discussing Kansas City’s projected win total.

Locals have long speculated that the property could host the ceremony.

However, the same report noted no filed permits, no public safety preparations, and no confirmed bookings tied to a large-scale event. Wedding planner Kate Murtaugh told the outlet that while the location feels like a “natural” fit, a high-profile ceremony there would require major coordination due to limited hotel capacity and heavy seasonal tourism.
Meanwhile, Kelce’s football future remains under debate. On Feb. 23, Tom Pelissero said on “The Rich Eisen Show” that contract talks have already taken place, and he believes Kelce will return. That keeps both football and wedding timelines closely linked.
