While the injury was later proven to be a brutal Achilles tear, new footage reveals what George Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, went through as he fell to the ground on Sunday night.

A few hours ago, Kyle Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin Juszczyk posted a video of Claire Kittle being visibly emotional when George Kittle got injured.
In the video that has moved fans, Claire Kittle was seen saying “Get up, get up” as George Kittle looked visibly in pain.
George Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, was visibly emotional when she realised her husband had sustained a brutal injury. The footage shows Claire Kittle being consoled by other WAGs as she started to accept what went down.
George Kittle also made a post about his injury as he shared a picture of Claire Kittle planting a kiss on his forehead.
The caption of the post read as, “Football sucks sometimes. But I love it. I love these guys and this team. Heartbroken but have felt so much love and support from everyone reaching out. I’ll be good. Thank you.”
George Kittle added, “We aren’t done yet! Also when your team owner is the first person to meet you in the locker room, you know you’re in a special place.

When can George Kittle come back to the field?
The San Francisco 49ers’ coach, Kyle Shanahan, spoke about George Kittle’s injury after the match as he said, “Losing Kittle early in the game, it was obviously a depressing play for everybody. Once I heard on the headset, just going over there, just felt horrible for Kittle.”
He added, “Jake [Tonges] and Luke [Farrell] had stepped it up for us all year so. So I think the guys had a lot of confidence in those guys that they could still do it. But I think everyone’s just hurting for Kittle.”
While there are no confirmed reports about when George Kittle will be able to return to the field, medical experts have concluded that it might take “9 to 12 months” at least.
