MELBOURNE: Australian coach Tim Nielsen has spoken to Ricky Ponting about the body language issues that he was blasted for during the Perth Test.
As the Australians were under pressure in Perth, Ponting did not project a confident air as his body slumped and he raised his hands to his head in dismay on several occasions, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Former Test players have blasted Ponting for his demeanour and Nielsen, who was on Tuesday re-appointed as Australian coach for another three years, said the issue has been addressed.
Nielsen defended his captain under fire, but conceded that poor body language was an issue that could not be ignored.
"We have spoken about it. I'm sure he's aware of it, we will do our best to keep getting better and better at that in the next little while. I think, under pressure, at times everybody has moments when they would look back and think maybe I could have done that better," Nielsen said.
