Parthiv Patel would lead a 15-member Indian squad at the Emerging Players Tournament to be played at Brisbane in Australia from August 8-20.
Cheteshwar Pujara, who led India A recently in England, was named as Patel's deputy by the senior national selection committee that met today at Chennai to pick the squad, a media release from Cricket Board secretary N Srinivasan said on Tuesday.
New Zealand, South Africa and the hosts outfit would take part inthe tournament consisting of T20 and 50-over ties, as per the schedule releasedalong with the team.
