NAGPUR: Lokmat overwhelmed Sakal by seven wickets to retain the title of the 16th VICCO-SJAN Inter-Press Twenty20 Cricket tournament, organized by the Sports Journalists' Association of Nagpur, at Ambedkar College ground on Saturday.
Opting to bat first, Sakal were restricted to a modest score of 103 for 6. Lokmat romped home with two overs and seven wickets to spare.
In-form Sharad Mishra bagged yet another man-of-the-match award.
Pramod Walmandre of Motion, secretary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti Sadanand Fulzele and director of Ashwamedh Infrastructure Rahul Fusey distributed the prizes.
