HYDERABAD: Dismissing allegations of misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 200 crore, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on Friday said that it had nothing to hide and would cooperate with the investigators.
"We have provided them with all the documents, whatever they require. We are saying that if the enquiry is to go on, let it go on. We have nothing to hide," HCA president
Arshad Ayub told reporters.
Following a directive from the ACB court, it registered a case against former cricketer and HCA vice-president Shivlal Yadav and 22 other committee members under Sections 406 (Criminal Breach of Trust) and 409 (Criminal breach of trust by public servant, or by banker) and 420 (Cheating) of the IPC, besides different provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
ACB officials had after that raided the HCA premises to collect documents relating to the case.
"We have gone through the process and the process is being monitored. We are absolutely going to cooperate with them," Ayub added.
