NEW DELHI, July 13: England Lions have won the toss and decided to bat against India in their three-day warm-up match at County Ground in Chelmsford on Friday.
Indians are being led by Sachin Tendulkar after skipper Rahul Dravid Dravid, who is nursing a calf injury, pulled out on Thursday in order to be fully fit for the gruelling Test series beginning at the Lord's from July 19.

Sourav Ganguly, who sat out of the first warm-up match, returns to bolster the batting as India look forward to a morale-boosting performance in the Friday's tour match.
Both Ganguly and Tendulkar were rested from the tour opener against Sussex that saw the Indians fail to break the county team's last wicket partnership and clinch victory.
The visitors have left out Ranadeb Bose whereas Gautam Gambhir has been named as the 12th man.
The teams:
Indians: Sachin Tendulkar (captain), Wasim Jaffer, Dinesh Karthik, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wk), Zaheer Khan, S Sreesanth, Ishant Sharma and Ramesh Powar.
12th man: Gautam Gambhir.
England Lions XI: Andrew Strauss (captain), Joe Denly, Owais Shah, Jonathan Trott, Ravi Bopara, Tim Ambrose (wk), Adil Rashid, Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, Chris Tremlett and Graham Onions.
