NEW DELHI: South African stand-in skipper Johan Botha has won the toss and decided to bat first against Australia in the fifth and final One-Day International at Perth on Friday.
The series has already been sealed by South Africa after winning the fourth One-dayer but the top ODI ranking is up for grabs in this dead rubber.
If South Africa beat Australia and won the series 4-1 then they will topple the Aussies from the top of the ICC's ODIs rankings.
South Africa have rested Dale Steyn and Makhaya Ntini for this match and selected two debutants Wayne Parnell and paceman Lonwabo Tsotsobe for the game.
And for Australia, vice-captain Michael Clarke and left arm fast bowler Nathan Bracken come into the squad in place of Shaun Tait and Cameroon White.
Teams:
Australia: Shaun Marsh, David Warner, Ricky Ponting (capt), Michael Clarke, Michael Hussey, David Hussey, Brad Haddin (wk), James Hopes, Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Bracken, Ben Hilfenhaus.
South Africa: Herschelle Gibbs, Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers (wk), JP Duminy, Neil McKenzie, Vaughn van Jaarsveld, Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel, Johan Botha (capt), Wayne Parnell, Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
