Bharat Petroleum bag Times Shield 'A' Division title

It's a season to remember for BPCL. Not only did they bag the Times Shield 'A' Division title, their batsman Bhavin Thakkar was adjudged the 'best batsman' of the tourney.

MUMBAI: It's a season to remember for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. Not only did they bag the Times Shield 'A' Division title, their batsman Bhavin Thakkar was adjudged the 'best batsman' of the tournament.
Moreover, they won the 'fastest scoring' honour too, for scoring 493 runs in 121 overs at a run rate of 4.07 against Western Railway Sports Association 'B'.

Tata Sports Club had to be content with the runners-up trophy, but they had something else to cheer as well, with their player Mithun Mukherjee, who took 14 wickets for 162 runs, being named the 'best bowler' of the meet.
The prize distribution function will be held on Friday at the Wankhede Stadium. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) chief Vilasrao Deshmukh will give away the prizes.
