NEW DELHI: WWE's Intercontinental Champion, Gunther, celebrated a personal milestone as he announced the joyous arrival of his baby boy on December 27. The proud father took to social media to share the heartwarming news, expressing his gratitude for the blessing that is his newborn son.

Gunther, also known as "The Ring General," has had a remarkable year in both his professional and personal life. In addition to his stellar performances in the wrestling ring, he tied the knot with former "NXT UK" star Jinny earlier in the year.

Jinny, who announced her retirement from in-ring competition in January 2023 due to injury, has been a supportive partner throughout Gunther's journey.

The Austrian-born wrestling sensation has solidified his status as a top star on "WWE Raw" in 2023. Gunther's achievements include an impressive run in the men's Royal Rumble match, where he entered at #1, eliminating five competitors before being bested by Cody Rhodes.

His reign as Intercontinental Champion, which commenced in June 2022 after defeating Ricochet, has been historic. Gunther recently surpassed the legendary Honky Tonk Man to become the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in the title's rich history.

Gunther's most recent title defense on the December 18 edition of "Raw" saw him overcome the challenge of eight-time Intercontinental Champion, The Miz. As he approaches the 600-day mark as champion, Gunther continues to leave an indelible mark on the WWE landscape.
