UPSC Mains Result 2024 Live Updates: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains Results 2024. Candidates who appeared for the examination can access their results on the official portals, upsc.gov.in, and upsconline.nic.in.

The Civil Services Examination is conducted in three phases: prelims, mains, and interview. The 2024 prelims were held on June 16, with results declared on July 1, 2024. The Mains exam took place over five days—September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2024 with two shifts each day: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates clearing the mains will advance to the personality test (interview) stage, scheduled to commence in January 2025.

This year’s recruitment aims to fill 1,056 vacancies across elite services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other central government positions. Selection is based on merit, with candidates required to meet specific cut-off marks at each stage.
