Paige Bueckers delivers perfect 37-point masterpiece in Unrivalled performance

Paige Bueckers just put on a show on Monday night to show the world the range of her talent. She didn’t just register a dominating performance against the Mist but dismantled them brick by brick.

The Mist and Breeze squared off against each other on the Unrivaled floor. This league follows a format that demands agility and energy, but Bueckers moved through the defense like she was practicing in an empty gym.

From 1 quarter, Bueckers kept a tight hold on the game through all the quarters giving Mist no chance to overcome the point-deficit and finished with a 83-64 win. Whether it was a step-back triple or a contested finish at the rim, every single shot found the bottom of the net, Paige executed every shot with efficieny and precision scoring a career high of 37 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assistsists while going 14-for-19 from the field and 5-for-8 from the arc.

This wasn’t it. Bueckers also won the $50k inaugural free-throw challenge by going 13-of-13 from the free throw line, truly justifying her name, Paige Buckets.

During the post-game conference when Paige was naked about her overall impression of the game, she said, “As a team we were really just trying to set the tone. I think from each game, you can learn something, and the way that we started the jump ball last game was not the approach that we wanted to have moving forward. So, I think as a team, we were very intentional about how we started the game. Um, and being aggressive on both ends of the floor. “
