Earlier this month, Klay showered his love for Megan as he named the boat SS Stallion. At the time, a voice appears to praise Megan’s command of the vessel, saying, “Big captain.” Klay is known across the NBA as “Captain Klay.” He taught himself to sail after suffering a torn ACL in the 2019 NBA Finals, later leaning on the water as an escape during his Achilles recovery. Five years later, boating is still part of his routine even as his life changes.
It now includes Megan Thee Stallion. Thompson signed with the Dallas Mavericks in the summer of 2024.
