Karl-Anthony Towns was honored with the University of Kentucky Hall of Fame last week. In his acceptance speech, he remembered his late mom and said:

“My mom obviously couldn't make it here today…I'm so happy she gets to see her son in this moment…Thank you to the Hall for showing her…momma knows best”
Karl-Anthony lost his mother in 2020 to COVID-19 complications on April 13, 2020. He previously shared with ESPN how he was asked to make a difficult decision, like pulling the plug on her. Revisiting the moment, he said that he just pulled the plug and let her pass. He also shared that she was sent with laughter.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods previously appeared on GQ Sports’ couple quiz, where they revealed unknown facts about each other. They had a fun time making guesses about the questions designed around their likes and interests.

While Karl-Anthony got the Hall of Fame honor, Jordyn Woods recently launched her fashion line, Woods by Jordyn. She gave a peek into his statement clutch, which got compared to Balenciaga too.
