“I’ll never play again…”: LeBron James drops another hint at potential retirement after this season

It is highly likely that the Lakers veteran would hang up his basketball sneakers ending his legendary career in the NBA. After gifting his mom, Gloria Marie James, a jersey with a personal message thanking her, James has shared that he may not play in the Madison Square Garden. It was a clear hint of the fact that he is counting his days in the league. Despite the age factor, James has been quite productive as he is still playing at his elite level. However, this season could be his last as James previously mentioned that he is looking to spend some quality time with family.The Los Angeles Lakers fell 112-100 to the New York Knicks. It also came on the same day he was selected as an NBA All Star for the 22nd straight time. James does not have a contract for the 2026-27 season.
